Hand Wash: The preferred method is hand laundering in lukewarm water with mild soap or detergent using a gentle hand movement. Do not soak too long, usually for 2-3 minutes. Rinse in cool water and roll silk in a towel to remove excess water. Never wring water from silk.
Deep colors of silk, especially black silk scarf, can not rub on the alkaline soap

Machine Wash: Larger scarves can be machine-washed. Wash in cold water with mild detergent without bleach, on a gentle cycle. Wash silk separate from other items and do not overload washer to avoid any unnecessary wear to the fabric. Silk dries quickly. tumble dry on very low heat only if necessary.

Dry Clean: Comforters are dry clean only. Do not over-drying before tight pinch, drying racks must not choose the rough wooden racks, smooth racks, preferably plastic drying racks and racks to prevent a small burr hook wound fibers, affecting the life of scarf.

Ironing: Silk has a resistance to creasing or wrinkling; most will smooth out naturally. If ironing should become necessary, press the damp silk on the reverse side with an iron set on low. Silk charmeuse (satin) requires a cool iron to bring back sheen.

Note: These are only general care guidelines for silk scarf. Please refer to specific care instructions on each label.

Nothing warms you up on a cold winter day like a cozy wool scarf. However, after just a few wears, it can become worn-looking and pilled. Try these tips to keep your wool scarf looking new, well beyond the winter season.

Step1: Hang wool scarf on shaped or padded hangers. By hanging your scarf, any wrinkles will flatten out within a day and the normal shape will return.

Step 2: Use a brush to remove soil from the surfaces of the scarf. The sturdy fabric of the scarf can handle a brush. Use a damp sponge for knits and more delicate fabrics. Do not pick at dirt with your nails.

Step 3: If you are caught in the rain or snow without an umbrella, allow the wool to dry completely before hanging or folding. The easiest way to do this is to hang it on a laundry drying rack. The wool should dry at room temperature for best results.

Step 4: A reputable dry cleaner can help extend the life of your wool scarf. Dry clean wool before storing it for the summer season.
